Head coach Ken Whisenhunt appears ready to let Leinart take the starting job for good this season after splitting it last season with Kurt Warner. Leinart would do better with a solid third wide receiver, but Bryan Johnson left for the 49ers over the off-season.
The defense has to improve dramatically if the Cardinals are going to make any kind of a run. Antrel Rolle, Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie, and Adrian Wilson make up a pretty good secondary that will do its job if the front seven can create any kind of pressure.
